Abstract:
A study on seminal plasma for certain organic and I inorganic constituents was undertaken. Fiffteen cattle-bulls were used at rest, and then after exposure to stress, in a trial to explore the effect of stress upon the constit- ution of saminal plasma. The results were concluded as follows:(1) A significant difference was noticed between the levelsof total protein in seminal plasma at rest and under stress.(2) The eleotrophoretic pattern of ~roteins showed fivedistinct components of fraotions with globulins predominating over albumins. A variation in oonoentrat-ion of other protein fractions was observed. (3) Fructose showed a significant differenoe between itslevel of rest and under stress. After stress the minimum, average, and maximum values decreased lineary.
