Evaluation of liver function in buffaloes at various reproductive conditions

Abstract:
One hundred and fourteen buffaloe cows were inves- tigated in this experiment. These animals were belon-ged to El-Hawatka Governmental Dairy Farm, Assiut Province.All animals were previously clinically examined to ensure their healthy status. The animals were classified according to theirreproductive status into the following groups:I- Heiffers: 21 animals.II- Early pregnant animals: 27 animals.III- Medium pregnant animals: 11 animalsIV- Late pregnant animals: 20 animals.V- Early lactating animals: 15 animals.VI- Animals showing undifferentiated anoestrum: 20 animals.Age of all examined animals ranged from 10 months to 15 years old. Lactating season varied from 1-7.Blood samples were collected and sera were sepa- rated. The collected sera were biochemically analysedto establish the liver function state under the influe-nce of indicated different reproductive conditions.These parameters included the following
