Abstract:
DUe to the appear-ance of several Cases of respiratory infection in bUffaloes calves in different breeding stationat AssiutProvinoe (E1-Hawatka, Mankabad, Om El-Kossor, E1-Badary). All diseased animals treated by normal antibiotic wi th no response. Morbadi ty rate was 36%, mortality andemergency slaughtering rate waS 22%.185 bUffaloes calves were selected for theses tudies, age between one day old up to 10 months old, all SUfferedfrom respiratory manifestation.Samples were taken from different part of respiratory tract involving nostrils, pharynx, right, left lobes of the lungs and pulmonary lymph nodes.Bacteriological examination as well as for myco1ogical studies to solv,cing this problem. The results as follows1-182 bacterial strains were isoiated from calves withrespiratory disease symptoms as follows:A. Staph-aureus 39.5%B.strept- pYogen”e s 12%C.E. coli 18%D.corvn-pyogenes 19%E. pseudomonas aurogenosa 11.5%
