Studies on the methods of control of rabbit coccidiosis

1- The Cause of coccidiosis in Egyptianrabbits was studied.2.- Morphological examination and deterIilination ofsporulation time revealed the presence of 8 speciesof Eimeria affecting rabbitsThese species were eimeria stiedae, E.magna,E.irresiduaE~media, E.preforans, E.intestinalis,E~neoleporis E.coecicola and•4- No rabbit was found to be infected with a singlespecies two or three species’ were present in onerabbit.5- The prevalant-species are E.stiedae 17%, E.magna15% and E.irresidua 19%~6- 3 groups of disinfectants were tested as coccid-iocides liIile in conc of 3% & 5% , ammonia in ~1% J 3%1, 5% F.A.iVl. in conc , 4% , iodocide inconc1 5%, tekresol in cone. of 5% and white die-infectant in conc. of 1% were effectiveas coccidiocides.
