Abstract:
The anthelimintic effect toxicological properties as well as histopathological studies on parenchymatous organs of some of the Egyptian plant seeds were investi- gated in order to find out the±r possible use in veter-inary practice against animal parasi tes. The plant sseeds those ofstudied wer-e I Lupinus t e rmis, Ammi visnaga and Brassica / , oleracea var. capitata. They were prepared in the form of alcoholic extracts. Available literature about these plants, history, chemistry, pharmacology and toxicologyis reviwed. The techniques applied in these studies are descr-ibed in the part dealing wi th ma t e r’La Ls and methods. Some results of these investigations, seemed interesting,
