Abstract:
Due to the econorai,c 1~ortence of poultry breeding in Egypt. It wee found necessary to investigate thebiology of ~ifferent cestodes with speciel reference to their intermediCtte hosts cnd larve1 stnges.The study wes cnrrieel ,,ut in Gize Gov8rnOro. te dur-Lngthe period begining from November 1978 till the end of Decerabe r 1979 •The incidence of tepeworms infesto.tion o.mong chicken wes 21.3%. The highest infestc.tion rate was d.uring cu tumn (26.7%),’while the lowest wes in winter(10.4%).
