Relationship between luteal malntenance and hypophyseal hormones in rabbits

The present investigation was carried out to investigate the effect of some anterior pituitary honnones, namely LH, FSH, TSH and LTH on the develo-pment and fuuction of the corpu.s luteum of rabbits.Rabbit antisera against each of these hormones were prepared. The potency of the antisera was dete- rmined by the haemoagglutination-inhibition techniqueA total of 110 female immature rabbits, 3 months old were used.Ovula:t7ion and corpus luteumformation was induced by using PMS and HCG.
