Abstract:
In thig work, 250 Fayumi chicks of 21 dyas old were employed for studying the effects of gonadal hormones onAscaridia gall:i as well as on the infested chicks. They were grouped into 3 main groupS:’The first one was used for revealing the effect of subcutaneous injection of gonadal hormones before infestationover 10 daYs at 3 days interval on the percentage of non-hatching of Ascaridia galli 6mbryonaGec1 eggseThe second group was used for exploring the effect of these hormonss on them WQ6n they W6re injected after 21 daysfrom infestation for 35 days and at 3 days interval on thenumber and the length of liB0aridia galli worms.The third groUf was used for studying the effect ofgonadal hormones on Ascaridia gal1i daily egg output after50 days of infestation and for a period of 15 days.Moreover, the effect of these hormones on Ascaridia galli worm and its Egg eIJ1.bryonation was also studied invitro.The obtained results could be summarised as follows:1- The effGct of gonadal hormones on number and length of Ascaridia galli worms:
