Abstract:
The work described in this thesis comprises two main parts :-Part ( I ) deals with the identification of the bac-tericidal drugs against Salmonella pullorum-gallinarum am- ong Penbritin, Cidoctine Succinate, Hostacycline, Ultabac- tin, Neomycin, Manilin, Penicillin G, streptomyci~ Sulpha-te~ Bayrena~ and Sulphadimidine Sodium.Part (II) deals with the preparation of Newcastle disease vaccine frrym the F strain, artificial contaminati-on of the vaccine with Salmonella pullorum-gallinarum, and identification of the effect of Selected bactericidal dru- gs OA virus infectivity endpoints.A review to the literature and a description of the varioUS methods used have been given.~the results achieved showed that:-1- Among the studied drugs ampicillin, chlorampheni- col, and ultabactin were found bactericidal against Salm~-nelle pu~lorum-g&llinarum.2- Addition of the baotericidal drugs to Newcastle disease virus vaccine prepared from the F strain did not
