Abstract:
1) Nine disinfectants in different concentrations wereused against some species of £ungi and yeasts. Threeof those disinfectants were quaterinary ammoniumcompounds, such as Anti-germ-50, Sanofec-50, andIVIefarol, J-iodophor such as Lo aan , }<’.AIVI-JO and iodi-cide-50, 2-phenolic compounds such as ’llekresol andcreolin, the last disinfectant used was formalin.2) .Antigerm-50 ”Pf Lz e r!’ , 1: 6000 d i Lut i.on had maximumtime of one hour for killing Trichophyton equinum,Trichophyton magnini and 7 hours for killing ~icro-sporum canis. 1:4000 dilution had maximwn time ofone hour, for killing Epidermophyton floccosum,Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Trichophyton viol-aceum.1:2000 dilution had maximum time of sevenhours for killing ;irichophyton rubrum.3)Pennsylvania)banofWhitmoyerec-501:2400 dilution had maximum time of one hour forkilling Trichophyton magnini and Trichophyton viLoaceum .
