Studies on the lipidogram of healthy rabbit,s serum

The present investigation endeavoured to study the of age, sex, breed, pregnancy, seaSon, nutritiond castration OD the serum lipidogram in rabbits. Spec-1 attention waS paid to the different methods used for of cholesterol in bloodThe present study was already carried on 479 of healthy breeds of rabbits viz. Giant-Flander,:oscat, and Egyptian-Balady rabbit. Such study revealed Ibe following findings:1.This study insured the superiority of Acetic anhydride- sulfuric acid method since the other two procedure Zak and\Vatson although were satisfactory with serum yet they proved no succeSS with whole blood, and red blood cells. Standard curves were done fused methods adopted.2. There were wide individualvariations in the lipidogram of rabbit’s blood.
