Abstract:
Five hundred and nine chickens of differentages were used in this investigation to studythe pathogenici ty of A. fumigatus. A. flavus.andA.: pi~~for chickens and diagnosing ~. fumigatusLn f’ec t i.on in chickens by serologiCal and allergictests”.)The experimental infection of 2-week-oldchicks with .i, fumi.s.3:~~, A. fl~ or A. £:tEerspores was characterized by respiratory and some- times nervous symptoms. The characteristic nodulesin the lung and air sacs we+e only seen in A.f~igatusinfected chicks.
