Epidemiological studies on nematodiasis in goats

Abstract:
This study was conducted on 350 balady goats at Kaluobiagovemorate (Benha - Moshtohor - Shebeen El-Kanater andToukh) , all goats under investigation were subjected to fullclinical examination as well as parasitological analysis on fecalsamples and haematological and serum biochemical studies onblood and serum samples collected from infested goats andcontrol non infested one. The results of this study declared that: -- The overall prevalence of infestation percent was 85.70/0 andthe prevalence rate was highest at Toukh (29%), followed byMoshtohor (25.7%), Shebeen El-Kanater (23%) and Benha(22.3%). - The seasonal dynamics of infestation was high in winter(100%), than in spring (94.3%), summer (79.5%) and autumn(69.7%).- The seasonal prevalence of different gastrointestinal larvaeafter faecal culture showed that the highest overall prevalence
