Evaluation of the immune system in poultry toxicated with mycotoxins

Abstract:
The present study was conducted to examine 100 randomly collected poultry feed samples collected from different poultry farms and feed mills at Menofia Governorate, for the presence ofAspergillus group.The present results revealed the isolation of different Aspergillus species in 92% of the examined samples. Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus niger were found to be the predominate(67.4% and 40.2%) followed by Aspergillus fumigatus (31.5%), A.ochraceus (8.6%), A. candidus (8.6) and finally A. terreus (2.1 %) Many of the isolated Asergillus flavus strains (53.2 %) were found to produce aflatoxins with the average concentration of 16 mg/L, 17mg/L, 9.1 mg/L and 12.12 for yellow corn, whit corn, bAnd also 87.5% of the isolated Aspergillus ochraceus strains were found to produce ochratoxin A with average concentration of 62 mg/L, 36 mg/L 30 mg/L and 9mg/L for yellow corn, white corn, broiler ration and layer ration respectively.To study the effect of mycotoxins on broiler chicken:A total of 120 one day old hub bard chicks were kept for 14 days and through this week the chicks fed on free ration then the chickens divided into 8 equal groups (every group contain 15 chickens) were used in the following order: -
