Effect of some agricultural practices on growth and yield productivity of cassava

The aim of the present inv~stigation is to concludet he pr opez c ul t U.I al PI ac t ic ~s fOI the pr cduc t ion ofcassava on sandy soils in respect of feIt ilizat ion andharvesting time in oz de r to maximize yield.The experiments were undertaken to achieve the goalsof study ovex the two seasons 1988/89 and 1989/1990 inthe experimental faIm of Faculty of AgIic., Sllez CanalUniv. at Iamailia. The split-plot design with fouxreplications was adopted; in which main plots were devotedfOI NPK feI~ilizeI tIeatments of 0-0-0, 45-0-0, 90-0-0,45-)0-0, 90-)0-0, 45-JO-50 and 90-)0-50. The sub plotswexe devoted fox two haIvesting times at 9 and 11 monthsfIom planting.
