There are two metbods of sheep management in the middle east. in the arid lands extensive grazing is practised in which the frocks move around searching for pasture ell the day. the shepherds use miserable shelters and tends to protect the ewes and lambs from the hazars of the weather particul-arly hot solar radiation. The Present work aimes to determine the effects of closed compared compared to semiopen system of housing on some physiological responses, thermo cardio respiratory, blood haemoglobin and haematoorit, the energy resoureas in plaama, glucose, total lipids and t3. These traites were assesed in suckling lambs, growing lambs and mature ossimi sheep in winter and summer seasons.
