Instrumental Analysis Of Certain New Pharmaceutical Drugs Of Different Pharmacological Actions

In this thesis the recent developments in analytical methodologies for determination of Rofecoxib in bulk drugs, pharmaceuticals and biological matrices were studied.An extensive survey of the literature published in various analytical and pharmaceutical chemistry related journals has been conducted. HPLC with UV detection was found to be the technique of choice for many workers and most of methods were based on LC and UV (10).Rofecoxib was used as internal standard in the analysis of entacapone, Sildenafil, and Valdecoxib, especially in biological fluids due to its simple structure (10-13).
