Development of Promising Methods In the Analysis of Pharmaceutical compounds

In this work, important pharmaceutical compounds were analysed in pure form or in their pharmaceutical formulations using either ion pair complex formation or charge transfer reaction or redox reactions.It is of great importance to develop sensitive, precise and accurate methods for determination of the investigated drugs, either in pure form or in the pharmaceutical formulations with low cost depending upon the availability of chemicals and equipments.The investigation includes the use of certain spectrophotometric, spectrofluorimetric techniques.The thesis consists of four parts in addition to detection of bilins produced by cleavage of the thiol linkage between bilin and protein in phycobiliproteins present in cyanobacteria.Part (I):This part demonstrates a theoretical basic background review on the official and other methods of analysis for the selected drugs and their chemical structure and pharmacological action.
