Abstract:
Anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS) are synthetic compounds derived from testosterone. They are used for some clinical conditions such as burns, cancer and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. The anabolic action occurs by stimulation of nitrogen fixation and increases protein synthesis. On the other hand, AAS are responsible for growth of male reproductive system and development of male secondary sexual characteristics. At the same time, they induce serious side effects including mediation of inflammation, promotion of oxidative stress, decrease in male sex hormone levels and consequently impairment ofspermatogenesis.Whole grains including wheat are rich sources of antioxidant, traceelements, minerals, and vitamins, and also protect against chronic diseases. Consumption of soybean improves hypercholesterolemia cardiovascular diseases, renal diseases and certain forms of cancers and menopausal symptoms. Baker’s yeast used as nutritional supplement because it contains vitamin B, dietary fibers and protein. Whey protein is protein complex from milk, it includes -lactoglobulin, -lactoalbumin and lactoferrin. It has the ability to act as an antioxidant, antihypertensiveand hypolipidemic agent in vivo and in vitro..
