High performance Liquid Chromatographic Determination of Certain Nonsteroidl Anti-Inflammatory Compounds

Liquid chromatographic analysis of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory compounds is of a great importance for quality control of such drugs either as raw materials or in their different pharmaceutical dosage forms. It is also required for the purpose of drug stability testing, drug dissolution, drug absorbance and drug pharmacokinetic studies. Contribution to studies in this field is desirable and there is a growing need for the development of simple and specific methods for the evaluation of such drugs.The aim of this work is to develop simple, sensitive, selective, accurate and precise methods for determination of certain nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in their different pharmaceutical dosage forms together with their relevant substances, degradation products and/or formulatory adjuvants Simultaneously.The nonsterodial anti-inflammatory drugs tried to be determined here are :1- Piroxicam.2- Diclofenac sodium.3- Rofecoxib.4- Celecoxib.5- Meloxicam.
