Abstract:
Disease status was reported to affect the binding of drugs to human serum albumin .Ibuprofen and azapropazone are two anti-inflammatory drugs widely used in Egypt. The work in this thesis deals with the binding of these drugs to human and bovine serum albumin and their substitutes, as well as factors that affect the binding process. Also the binding of these drugs to serum albumin of diabetic patients was investigated. The release of these drugs from drug-protein complex was also studied. Hence this thesis is divided into three ports :Part I : Binding of ibuprofen with plasma proteins and their substitutes.Part II : Binding of azapropazone with plasma proteins and their substitutes.Part III :Binding of ibuprofen and azapropazone with serum albumin of diabetic patients.
