Abstract:
Bacteriological investigation of 42 patients suffering from burn wound sepsis revealed that staph . aureus , Proteus misabilis and Pseudomonas assuginosa were the highest organisms in ferquanct (56.89% , 18.9% and 13.79%) , while klebsiella spp , Psoteus marginal , proteus retegnii and B-heamolytic streptococci were the lowest isoltes in ferquancy (5.17% , 1.72% , 1.72 5 and 1.72.5%)Bacteriological examination of 30 sputum samples free from acid fast bacilli obrained from patients suffering from chronic cheast infection revealed that pneumococci , staph , aureus , kl , pneumoniae and yeast were the most common organisms in ferquancy ( 47.7% , 20.54% , 13.6% and 11.3%) followed by proteus spp ( 2.27%) and B- heamolytic streptococci (4.5%)35 patients suffering from otits media were subjected to the bacteriological investigation ; the highest rate of isolation was met with staph . auseus (47.6%) and proteus mirabilis ( 21.4%) while low rates were met with B- heamolytic streptococci (7.1%) proteus valaris (2.4%) proteus margnii ( 2.4%) yeast (7.1%) pseudomonas (7.1%) and esch . coli ( 4.8%)The result of bacteriological investigation of 100 nasal awab collected fronm medical students in Assiut University revealed positive isolation of 33 strains od Staph auseus.
