Abstract:
Effervescent tables occupy an important position among other dosage forms, being a form of choice, not only for adults, but also for children. L-Ascorbic Acid is one of the most designed active principles in effervescent tablets.L-Ascorbic Acid is essential , not only to prevent scurvy, but a 1 so to protect the body against drugs , environmental chemicals, and production of certain tumors, to make energy available at the cellular level, to protect vascular systems, inc1uding protection against cholesterol, to increase at lilt Lie performance, and to reduce the severity of the common cold.Effervescent preparations are sensitive, liable to absorb moisture readily from air to yield dead product within a short time.So, it was the aim of this study to try the manufacture of stable L-Ascorbic Acid effervescent tablets and to study the affecting factor s concerning containers, conditions and methods of preparation and storage. The work in this thesis was divided into five parts.
