Abstract:
The present work has been designed to study the affect of dipyridamole (persantin) at a dose level of (10 mg/kg body weight, daily) and phenindione (dendivan) at a dose level of ( 18 mg/kg , subsequently normal and hyperlipemic male albino rats.Animals were divided into three main groups. be first group represented the normal animals which re subdivided into seven groups to study the effect of each of the two drugs and their combination after and 45 days of administration respectively. The second main group were divided into four subgroupsused to investigate the effect of aforementioned drugs in normal rats for 30 days on lipase enzyme activity and phospholipids fractions. The third main group of animals received a theoretic diet (0.5% cholesterol, 0.5% colonic acid and 0.05% thlouracil) or 45 days for induction of hyporlipemia in them, la diet persisted also during drug administration maintenance of hyperlipemia. The animals were subdivided and given drugs as mentioned before in the normal groups.
