Abstract:
Cobra venom was used in this study in a dose of 0,3 mg/Kg body weight injected I.p. which is less than the lethal dose (LD 75). Experimental rabbits and rats were used. The Biochemical parameters, studied were brain tissue homogenate of , rabbits end serum used for estimation of free amino acids transaminases, and protein fraction.Brain and serum amino acids content were significantly decreased.Brain ALT and AST showed significant increase mote over brain protein fraction albuminod was significantly decreased, also serum albumin was significantly decreased, while globul in and sub-fraction of its significant increase in brain tissue., Serum a-globulin showed non significant change. While serum a-globulin showed significant increase, but non significant change in serum B-globulin and y-globulin were observed.
