Synthesis of certain Indole Derivatives of Pharmacological Interest

Indole Derivatives . The non steroidal anti –inflammatory agenta are reviewed.The different methods for preparing the intermediates included in the present study are reported.The experimental results attained in this investigation is advanced.The present study involved the synthesis of the following intermediates: 1) P-Methoxyphenylhydrazine.2) Ethyl levulinate3) Ethyl levulinate –p-me thoxyphenylhydrazone.4) Ethyl 5-methoxy -2- methylindoe-3-acetate.5) 5- Methoxy-2- methyindoe-3- acetic acid.6) Benzaldehyde p-methoxyhenylhydrazone.7) Benzaldehyde N1 – benzoyl –p- methoxyhy drazone.8) 1- Benzoyl- 5- methxy -2- methy lindole -3- acetic acid .
