Pharmaceutical Study on Heptaminol

The present thesis comprises a pharmaceutical study of Heptamlnol in different dosage forms. The behaviour of heptaminol in different pharmaceutical formulations was thoroughly observed. Several formu¬lations have been found to offer outstanding physical and or chemical characteristics. These were also often compared to a market preparation, whenever possible, and were frequently found superior to such market dosage fozma. Several formulations were suggested for the preparation of heptaminol in suppository form; a form which Is not so far been introduced into the market.The introduction to this work gives a preliminary idea Heptomiriol as a chemical compound and reviews its pharmacological activities and mechanisms of action,»The body of this thesis, on the other hand, embraces the pharmaceutical study carried out in the laboratory, which may be summarized under the following headings .
