Abstract:
The present work has been designed to investigate the effect of adenosine ( 200 mg/kg) alone and in combination with certain hormones specifically epinephrine (0.5 mg/kg) , nor epinephrine (1.2 mg/kg) , cortisol (25 mg/kg) , glucagon (0.75 mg/kg) and insulin (1mg/kg) on liver lipid metabolism and plasma NEFA in male albino rates weighting from ( 130-160 gm)For the purpose of investigations rats were divided into groups of 16 each . Each group was subdivided into 2 subgroups to study the effect of each of the agents used one and two hours after their administration .Adenosine was injected I.P in rats . Each of the above hormones was injected to rats separately and in combination with adenosine . A group of animals injected with saline were used as a control for each experimental group .
