Abstract:
The purpose of the present study was to determine the compatibility of two anti spasmodic drugs namely; mebeverine hydrochloride and papaverine hydruchloride with different adsorbents viz ; magnesium trisilicate, veegum, kaolin, aerosi1 , aluminum hydroxide and talc of common use in various pharmaceutical formulations, furthermore, the effect of these substances on the bioavailability of mebeverine hydrochloride and papaverine hydrochloride was also investigated.Accordingly the present experimental work embraces the following parts :PART I :Adsorption and Release Characteristics of Mebeverine Hydrochloride.PART II :Adsorption and Release Character is tics of Papaverine Hydrochloride.PART III :Bioavailability of Hebeverine Hydrochloride and Papaverine Hydrochloride in the Presence of Certain Additives.
