Synthesis of some new Heterocyclic compounds containing quinaz -ol-moiety for pharmacological study

A general survey of the different pharmacological activities and the chemistry, including synthesis and properties of 4(3H)-quinazolinone derivatives is presented.A detailed discussion of the experimental results attained with an adequate interpretation is advanced. Moreover, some of the new compounds were subjected to preliminary pharmacological testing including their CNS depressant as well as antimicrobial activities and the data obtained were summarized.
