Abstract:
SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONThis research includes the biochemical effects of five non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs namely:aspirin (100 mg/Kgm) , indomethacin (3 mg/Kgm) , Ketoprofen (14 mg/kgm) glifanan ( 72 mg/kgm) and iarison ( 55 mg/ kgm ) on certain aspects of carbohydrate , lipid , protein and electrolyteOur Investigations revealed that some drugs like aspirin and glifanan reduced significantly the blood sugar level . Other, like indomethacin induced a significant increase in blood sugar. Ketoprofen and biarison showed non significant change on blood level. It was noticed that all the examined antiinflaminatory drugs in our research reduced the total plasma lipids significantly. Aspirin, indomethacin and ketoprofen reduced the total plasma cholesterol level . But glifanan and biarison showed a non significant increase in cholesterol level
