Abstract:
In this study attempts have been dono toEstablish a new me thoda for delermiaaion of poni c ill In derivative a.The theain fall in aix parts :Part I :Review on the chemistry, structure and chroma ’ tographic methods for analysis of ponlcillin derivativesPart IIDetermination of some penicillin derivatives uaing high performance liquid chromatography. In this mo tiiod ilucleosil Rp18-in column was used withmobile phase (pH 4.1), 0.01 M KH2 PO 4, containing different proportion of acetonitrilo.Part III :-Gas chroma to graphic method for quantitative determination of some ponicillin derivatives. The free acid of penicillin derivatives were converted to methyl eater by me thy lationtion with diazomethane and determined on G.C usi. G w / w ov -1 column with nitrogen as carrier gas The method was used for doterminaton of penicillin derivatives in pure form or phnrrioeutir preparationThe results obtained ./ore compares with suitable official methods for each penicillinderivatives .Part IV :-Thin layer spectrodensitomtetric derraination. of some penicillin d€.’rivativ-.jn via. their p-nitro-phenacyl eater. p-Hitronhenacyl ejter of peni¬cillin derivatives were prepared and extracted withtoluene. The extract v/aa applied to TLC P254. The solvent ays tern used vu dd chlororae thane : methariol(49:1).The spots were measured at; 230 nm.Part v:-.
