Abstract:
Cheiranthus Cheiri L ( Fam. Cruciferae ) is an ornamental plant cultivated in Egypt . The plant was used as , emenagogue , for treatment of joints and spleen diseases and for tooth aches .The study has been done to elucidate the characteristics of the plant , in order to identify the plant to investigate its active constituents .This thesis include three parts :Part I : Botanical study :A - Morphological characters .B - Microscopical characters .Part II : Phytochemical study .Part III : Antimicrobial and antitumour studies .
