Abstract:
Cephradine is one member of the senisynthetic cephalosporins belonging to the beta-lactan group of antibiotics which includes also the penicillins and cephamycins. Cephalosporins are usually effective against infections from Gran-positive bacteria, such as Staphlococci , group- A Sterptococcus , anaerobic Streptococci , and Streptococcus pneumoniae . It is usually given in an amount of 1 to 4 g daily in four divided doses. Under dry and cool storage conditions, with the exclusion of oxygen, it shows reasonable bulk-stabilityIn the present work, it was intended to carry out a pharmaceutical investigation of Cephradine in certain formulation. Such as investigation was dealt with the following headings
