Abstract:
Present work has been carried out to study the effect of some natural plant giant origin flavonoids. (Naringm, Hesperidim and Silymariu) and poly unsaturated fatty acids (n-3) of animal origin either prophylactically or in unbilled form on cerium biochemical parameters, in CCL4 treated rats: Plasma ALT, AST, cholesterol, Urates and MDA and, liver glutathione content in addition to blood glutathione peroxidese (GPx) activity, and Superoxide dismulase (SOD) (% of inhibition) were used as biochemical parameters.Hislopatliological study was also done on liver samples of different groups.Experimental animalsAnimals were classified into eight groups,(1) Normal group received t»o drug but only suspension of gum accacia(2) Control group received CCL4.(3) Group received Naringin in a dose level of 100 mg/kg body weight (l.P.)(4) Group received Naringin in a dose level of 250 mg/kg, body weight (l.P.)(5) Hesperidin group received Hesperidin in a dose level of 100 mg/kg, body weight (I.P)
