Abstract:
present study represents a trial to correlate the blood coagulation factors and changes in lipid and lipoproteins parameters in diabetics. This work has been carried out to study the effect of acetyl salicylic acid alone, n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid, alpha-tocopherol and xanthinol nicotinate individually and their combinations with acetylsalicylic acid on certain biochemical parameters in STZ diabetic rats plasma glucose, Lp(a), fibrinogen, AT III and plasminogen, TC, TG.LDL-C and HDL-C. RBCs MDA, Blood GHb% and platelet cholesterol phospholipids ratio (C/P ratio) were used as parameter for Evaluation of drugs under study.Experimental animals :Diabetic animals were classified into three main parts, each oneare classified to nine subgroups and 60 days as follow:1. Normal group received olive oil.2. Diabetic group received olive oil.3. Received ASA (162.5 mg/day).4. Received n-3 fatty acid (4 g/day)
