Design and synthesis of some Pyrimidor 1,2-ajbenzimidazole derivatives of potential Hypotensive effect

Pyrimido {1,2-a}Benzimidazole-Hypotensive Effect.Hypertension is a pathologically elevated systemic arterial pressure . It is a condition in which systolic pressure exceeds 160 mm Hg or diastolic pressure exceeds 95 mm Hg .There are two main types of hypertension : primary ( essential ) and secondary hypertension .Satisfactory blood pressure control invariably requires chronic therapy , and the drug side effects must be minimal . Antihypertensive drugs with specific mechanisms of action are increasingly being employed in order to ameliorate selectively particular haemodynamic derangements without affecting normal physiological functions .
