Abstract:
Chlorphenoxamine hydrochloride is HI- receptor antagonists, belongs to ethanol amine group. It is an affective antihistaminic drug with sedative and antihistaminic effects. Also it is. effective against rigidity , akinesia , fatigue, depression and weakness and good result were observed specially in ease of acute eczema , contact dermatitis , chronic urticariaPheinramine indicate is a potent antihistaminic drug which belong to alkylamine derivatives of HI- receptor antagonists, but prove to produce CNS stimulationThe aim of this work is to formulate the two antihistaminic drugs in different topical preparations and suppository bases. Also it was tried to evaluate the antihistaminic acclivities of both drugs in such formulations using hand paw edema .
