Pharmacognostical Study of Some Plants Growing in Egypt

This Study comprises pharmacognostical studies of two Egyptian plants : Centaurea araneosa Boiss. and Heliotropium bacciferum Forssk. Plants of the genera Centaurea and Heliotropium are of particular medicinal interest regarding their reputition in the production of cytotoxic secondary metabolites including sesquiterpenc lactones and flavonoids from Centaured plants and pyrrolizidine alkaloids from Heliotropium spcies.This study consists of two parts :Part 1.Pharmacognostical study of Centaurea Araneosa Boiss.Part 11Pharmacognostical study of Helliotropium Bacciferum Forssk.
