Aberia cafrfra (Hook F.&harv)warb(Flacourtiaceae(is a spiny dioecious shrub dioecious shrub or small tree. it has an cdible feuits and was used by the natives in South Africa as a remedy for rheumatism.>Literature survey showed that the plant under investigation has not yet been previously studied and this encouraged us to carry out the present work including:Macro- and micromophological studies of the different organs of the plant in the entire and powdered forms.2 0 phytochemical screening for the different constituents .3 0 Isolation and identification of the possible different constituents of the plant 04 0 Study of organic acids and estimation of ascorbic acid content of the fruits.5 0 Preliminary screening for the cyatotoxic activity of the alcoholic extract of Aberia caffra ( Hook f.& Harv. ) Warb.part 1 : Botanical study of Aberia caffra Hook f. & Harv Warb .
