Abstract:
The present work is a contribution to the study of the pharmacokinetics , bioavailability and mass transport of two sparingly soluble drugs , namely , Choramphenicol and Sulfisoxozole which are reported to show marked defrences in the absorption characteristics . Special stress has been awarded to the exploitation of the effect of solid dispersion as a unique approach to enhance the bioavailability and optimize the pharmacokinetics of these drugs .Part IPharmacokinetics and Bioavailability of Chloramphenical :Chloramphenical is a model of drugs which are poorly should in aqueous medium . Such characteristics lend the drug to bioinequivalence and to the effect of formulation factors . The present work was designed to study the pharmacokinetics and bioavailability of chloramphenical . Implications of formulation varisable , were considered with an ultimate goal of engancing the process of mass transport . from the manifold approaches to achieve the goal, special consideration has been awarded to the approach of soild dispersions
