Antihistaminics And Related Compounds. 1. Introduction :In this part a brief review on the history, biological significance and clinics! applications of p-aninobenzcic acid is given. In addition three separate msnographs on the main pharmacological applications of thioseraica rbazidos,, 1, 3 ,4-thisdiazoIes and 1,2,4-t riazoles as obtained from the literature, are presented.II . Aim of the present investigation ;The pharmacological basis on which the new compounds synthesized in this work, were designed are illustrated.Ill. Dig cushion of the experimental ;IThis consists of fourtpart:s dealing with aryi isothiocyanates, l-acyl-4-gryl-thiosarnicarbazides , 1,3,4-thiadiazoles. and 1,2,4-triazoles respectively. Under these headings the rnoin commonly ’applied methods for the preparation of the final compounds in concern were enumerated, critically di-scussed, and the rationalebehind choosing the methods applied in this work is given. A brief discussion of the practical observations and tiie modifications applied in the course of carrying out’ these methods is presented.IV . xpe r 1 me n t 3 il__ pa r t :In this thesis the following known intermediate hasbeen synthesized
