Abstract:
l- Screening on 63 Bacillus species for production of proteinase enzymes was done using : casein plate test. only 12 Bacillus species have Proteinase activity. 2- different incubation times for the Bacillus specieswere studied and the maximum enzyme yield was obtained on the third day of culture. B. subtilis-62 and .b. polymyxa-2120 having the highest proteinase activity were chosen for physiological studies. The effect of different concentrations of glucose (as carbon source), fibroid (as nitro en source), copper and zinc on enzyme production was studied. The best glucose concentrations was found to be 0.5% for all Bacillus species used,0.25 with respect to fibrin concentration except for B. spericus-2122 ’Which needed 0. 75 of fibril Copper and zinc gave the highest enzyme production.
