Hetrocyclic compounds Containg Nitrogen -sythesis of 1-subsituted -5- nitro -6- mehy1benzoles.-synthesis of 1- substituted -5-nitro -2,6- dimethyl benzimide- zoes-synthesis of 1- substituted- 5- nitro -6-methyl2(3H) benzimide-zoones-Stnthesis o doc –amino -6-2-(5-or (6)-nitro -6(5) methyl- benzimidazole but yric acid .-synthesis of 1-(2- diethylaminoethoxy)-2- pmeny-5- methyl-6- nitrobenzimidazoles.Our synthesis started from m- toluidine (1) which under- went sand Mayaer reaction to give m- chlorotolune (2) Nitra- tioa of compound (2) using nitric acid in the presence of sulphric acid afforded 3-choro- 4,6- dinitrotoluene (3).Refluxing compound (3) with ethanoamine , ethylamine, anilid and /or benzylamine , compounds (4a-d) were obtained .
