Synthesis of some triazole Derivates for Pharmacological Study

The chemistry of triazoles has been reviewed . The investigation invooved the preparation of the following unavailable starting materiasls and intermediatind:1)4-Amino 1,2,4-triazoloe.2)4-Amino 3,5- dimethyl 1,2,4- triazole.3) Amino 1,2,4-triazole.4) Guanidine nitrate.5)Nitro guanidine bicarbonate.6)Amino guaidne bicarbonats.7)P- Nitrobenzoyl chloride.(B) refluxing in pyridine for afew hours . Method(A) resulted in the formation of amicds 7-16, while method (b) afforded the imido compounds 17-25.The resulting amic acids failed to cyclise when they were heasted in dry pyridine at their rafulx tempeatares .Nevertheless cyclistain to the corresponding imides was achieved by fusing the amic acids , under diminished pressure . with unsymmetricaly substituted succinic anthydries acylation under condition (a) afforded com- pounds 9-14 This is likey due to the preferfntia attack of the less stericaly hinderd carbonyl group by the , nucleophile.
