The this is divided into three partsPart 1- ahistorical part includes:1-study on the different medicinal uses of quinazolone derivatives with special reference to the antiamoebio agents.2-Ageneral review on the chemistry of quinazolines with special reference to the synthesis and reactions of quinazolones .3-a study of structural requistes and experimental conditions of mannich reaction.PART11 – the original work which includes:1-Aim of the present investigation .2- A theoretical discussion of the experimental achievements.3- discussion of the infra-red analysis of some the prepared compounds representatives of the different series of compounds prepard in this work.PART111-Experimental part:This part includes the menthods of prepration of 16 new compounds which are not present in the available literature.
