Abstract:
This study was done in Internal Medicine and Clinical Pathology departments, Faculty of Medicine Zagazig University Hospitals. It included 60 subjects. They were classified into three groups:Group I: including 20 diabetic patients without foot ulcer admitted to internal medicine department.Group II: including 20 diabetic patients with foot ulcer admitted to diabetic foot department.Group III: including 20 apparently healthy subjects taken as controls.All patients were subjected to the following:1- Full history taking, complete clinical examination and drugs intake.2- Complete blood count (CBC).3- Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR).4- Urea and creatinine.5- Random blood sugar (RBS).6- Glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c).7- Interlukin 6 (IL-6).
