Coagulopathy in Different Respiratory Diseases

This study was carried out at chest department, respiratory ICU& clinical pathology department of Zagazig University Hospitals in the period from February 2010 to January 2012. This study was conducted on 166 Subjects, who were classified into two groups:-I) Control group: - included 25 apparently normal healthy persons, 15 males and 10 females, their ages ranged from 23 to 46 years old with a mean of 35.8 ± 6.76.years.Π) Patients group: - included 141 patients with different respiratory diseases, 81 Males and 60 females, their ages ranged from 33 to 65 years old with a mean of 52.3 ± 7.9 years. Those patients were subdivided according to their diagnosis into:-A- (38) Patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructivepulmonary disease (COPD) patients.B- (21) Patients with bronchial asthma exacerbation.C- (26) Patients with acute exacerbation of interstitial pulmonary fibrosis.D- (31) Patients with pneumonia.E- (15) Patients with bronchogenic carcinoma.F- (10) Patients with methoseliom.
