Central Corneal Thickness Measurement by Pentacam Versus Ultrasonic Pachymetry

Egypt locates in the arid belt of North East Africa and NorthWestern Asia. The major challenges facing Egypt now is the developingand managing better of the very limited natural resources of water to meetthe needs of population as well as searching for new resources. The use oftreated wastewater for irrigation is an attractive option. It represents anadditional reliable source of water for non-potable purposes.In this study upgrading of wastewater treatment has beeninvistigated. Upgrading process involves domestic wastewater separation,treatment to secure maximum efficiency and cost effective as well asimplementing the low-coast technologies.The UASB removal efficiency for blackwater treatment wasreached 43.5%, 52.9%, and 47.8% for BOD, COD, and TSS respectively.The wetland removal efficiency was reached 89.5%, 94.2%, and 91.3%for BOD, COD, and TSS respectively. Also the heavy metals removalefficiencies were eliminated in the following order:Fe (93.7 %) > Mn (85.8 %) > Cd (76%)> Cu (75 %)> Hg (74%) > Pb(71.5%) > Zn (49.2).
