The Role Of Sulfasalazine In The Treatment Of Recalcitrant Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria

Chronic urticaria has a wide spectrum of clinical presentations, but no cause can be found in the majority of cases.Sulfasalazine therapy can be an effective and safe treatment option for patients with recalcitrant CIU.The present study aims to evaluate the efficacy of sulfasalazine as a treatment for chronic idiopathic urticaria.Further studies are required to confirm the efficacy of sulfasalazine and to clarify its mechanism of action as a treatment of patients with CIU.
